Yoenis Cespedes has gone AWOL during Mets series against Braves

Mets outfielder Yoenis Céspedes has not reported to the team as they ready for the middle game of the team's three game series with Atlanta. As of Saturday afternoon, the team is not sure if his whereabouts.

The Mets released the following statement:

"As of game time Yoenis Céspedes has not reported to the ballpark today. He did not reach out to management with any explanation for his absence. Our attempts to contact him have been unsuccessful."
