MLB allegedly cancelled Mets World Series gear after Game 3 loss to LA

If the Mets needed bulletin board material for tonight, they now have it.

According to a direct message to WFAN host Evan Roberts on Twitter/X, MLB is not banking on the Mets digging out of a 2-1 NLCS hole.

Conspiracy theories already ran rampant that Rob Manfred in the Commissioner's Office dreamt of a World Series matchup that featured the New York Yankees and the Los Angeles Dodgers.

This reported Twitter/X message does not do anything to dispel that the league is planning for the two marquee franchises to match up.

The Amazin's still have two home games left where they can potentially take a 3-2 advantage to Game 6 in Los Angeles.

Manager Carlos Mendoza may want to post a printout of this tweet in the locker room and clubhouse to remind the Mets to never give up.
