Pete Alonso started the offensive fireworks early with a three-run blast over the center field wall to give the Amazin's a huge early spark in the first off John Flaherty.

Started David Peterson pulled a Houdini act in the top of the inning by escaping a first and third, no-out jam and didn't allow a run to score.

The Mets piled on another five runs in the third with Starling Marte, Francisco Alvarez, Francisco Lindor and Brandon Nimmo all clinching RBI hits.

Andy Pages homered to cut a massive lead to 8-2 in the top of the fourth and the Mets answered back with two in the bottom of the frame.

Pages blasted a three run shot in the fifth to cut the lead to 10-5.

Then, Mookie Betts launched a solo bomb to shrink the lead to four runs in the top of the sixth but a Jeff McNeil sacrifice fly gave the Mets an 11-6 advantage.

Marte's eighth inning single to plate Alonso was the last run of the game as Edwin Diaz pitched two scoreless innings to secure the win.

On a day when Betts promised haymakers to the Mets, it was the Orange and Blue knocking the Dodgers out.

Game 6's first pitch is set for Sunday at 8:08 with Sean Manaea taking on a litany of Los Angeles bullpen arms at Dodger Stadium.

The New York Mets punched their ticket to the NLCS and Michael Cohen has an immediate reaction to the epic Game 4 clincher at Citi Field!

The New York Mets led 3-0 and 4-3 but ultimately fell on a Nick Castellano's RBI single in the bottom of the 9th to give Philly a 7-6 win.

Mark vientos hit a pair of home runs, including a two-run shot in the top of the ninth inning with the Mets trailing 6-4 to tie the game.

Luis Severino pitched perfectly until the sixth inning until he gave up a two-run home run to Bryce Harper followed by a solo shot by Nick Castellano's.

Edwin Diaz came in a high leverage situation in the seventh inning to send down the Phils and preserve a 4-3 lead that Brandon Nemo provided on his solo shot in the top of the 7th.

Diaz then imploded in the 8th inning allowing the Phillies to score three runs and grab a 6-4 advantage.

After Vientos tied the game with his heroic 9th inning home run, Tylor Megill gave up the walk-off hit to Castelliano's to end the game.

The Amazin's return to Queens starting Tuesday to try to regain the series advantage and possibly close things out in game at Citi Field on Wednesday.
